To authorize SAP SuccessFactors  to send emails on your behalf please reach out to SAP Cloud Support team (under component LOD-SF-PLT-SEC) with the following information provided:

  • Company ID;
  • Datacenter;
  • Your mail domain details;
    • (Provide a full list of the email domains used by users - there may be more than one).

 

SuccessFactors can also forward outgoing emails through a customer's own SMTP server(s). They only need:

  • the condition (recipient domain);
  • the customer's SMTP server's IP and port;
  • SMTP auth user and password if needed. 

 

Publishing your DKIM public key for SAP SuccessFactors

After you get your public key from SAP SuccessFactors’s support team: 

  • Login to your DNS provider’s management console as the admin
  • Navigate to the DNS records section 
  • Create a TXT or CNAME record depending on the type of DKIM record provided to you
  • Copy and paste the hostname and value
  • Save changes to your record and wait for 48-72 hours for your DNS to process these changes
